I'm an over-worked, over-fed, under-paid and under-slept graduate student in linguistics, specializing in acoustic phonetics, with an special interest in the languages of the Pacific Northwest. Other activities I enjoy include: books of nearly any persuasion (though especially pop-sci and sci-fi), whiskey (is that an activity?), and brisk walks to the beat of my iPod. I'm sure I'm interested in other things, too, though nothing comes to mind at the moment.
