1. Vote by mail. I can participate in the political process from my couch, researching issues and candidates with my ever-present companion Macbook Pro, all while enduring what is, for all intents and purposes, a rather nasty hangout.
2. During my research of said topics, I discovered some videos of an event entitled "Candidates Gone Wild." All five of Oregon's gubernatorial candidates participated in video spoofs. The Democrat and Republican candidates appeared on "Cribs" and the three smaller-party folks--Liberaterian, Pacific Green, Constitution--went a blind date on "Candi-Date." These videos are quite good fun. And thanks to Vox, I can share the videos with you!!
